The standard this site targets

This site is built to Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

What has been done

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single H1 per page, correct heading order, and real header, nav, main and footer regions.
  • A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard alone, in a logical tab order, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and at least 3:1 for text at 24px and above. Bronze is used only for large display figures, decorative rules and text on the dark green ground.
  • Form fields with associated labels, inline validation on blur, and errors announced to assistive technology. No information is conveyed by colour alone.
  • Usable at 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling; motion is minimal and disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
  • The booking calendar iframe carries a descriptive title, and a direct link is offered as an alternative route.

Known limitations

The booking calendar is a third-party Google component and its internal accessibility is outside our control. Anyone who cannot use it is welcome to book by email, telephone or WhatsApp instead, and will receive the same appointment.
